- Bookman appears to have a wider set width
- Bookman's letters are heavier than Baskerville
- Bookman employs the use of angles into the serifs of their capital letters as opposed to Baskerville which tends to have serifs with 90 degree serifs.
- Baskerville's letters have more contrast in their modulation than Bookman.
